The University of Chicago Medicine Adult Emergency Department is a new 38,000 SF building located in Chicago, IL. The Adult Emergency Department Project recreated existing portion of University of Chicago Parking Lot B into Adult Emergency Facility.
MEPIS took the role as commissioning authority for the UCM project which involves functional testing of all MEP/FP and low voltage equipment. All equipment such as Distribution panels, ATS’s, switchgears, Air Handling Units, VFD’s, Medical Gas Systems, Pumps, Humidification Equipment, Chemical Treatment Systems etc. are tested for proper functionality performance.
