MEPIS was commissioned by Studio ARQ vis-à-vis Midway International Airport to provide MEP/FP engineering support for the renovation and build-out of six (6) concession stands at the Concourse Triangle: Go-Go White Sox Bar & Grill, M Burger, Dunkin Donuts, RJ Grunts, Beechers, and Reily’s Daughter Floating Bar. MEPIS provided repurposed or new utility connections as required for the concession stands and associated equipment, including new metered gas and electric sources, and modifications to source head-end equipment as needed. MEP/FP design included power, lighting, and data; local HVAC and kitchen exhaust; domestic water and waste piping; new electric water heaters; and local fire protection systems.
